Every year many smartphone makers unveil their products at IFA and this year was no different.
IFA 2016 at Berlin saw many smartphone launches and one such smartphone is Umi Plus from Umi.
Now this smartphone is officially debuting on September 7 and Umi has released a promotional teaser for the purpose.
This new smartphone from Umi comes with a tagline 'Long Lasting Beauty Flagship' which hints at the large battery capacity of this smartphone.
As of now Umi has not revealed anything about this smartphone but the fact that Umi showcased this phone at IFA 2016 hints that it is going to be something worth waiting for.
Though specifications of this smartphone are a well kept secret by Umi, from the teaser above we can deduce that Umi Plus will be flaunting a metal body and will be sporting a very slim profile.
A camera sensor and LED flash are visible on the back panel just above the Umi branding,On the front, there is a home button which we believe will be housing the fingerprint reader as well.
The volume rocker and the power button are placed on the right side of the device.
At the moment we are clueless about the pricing and other details of this phone but as soon as we get to know anything we will update.

LeEco has been the pleasant surprise of 2015 as the devices it released were big hits not only in China, but internationally too as more and more people look towards the Chinese market when updating their current device.

This year, LeEco didn't let down its fans and introduced a series of high-end devices at affordable prices.

Among them, is the LeEco Le Max 2, equipped with the SD820 SoC and 4GB to 6GB of RAM and 32GB to 128GB of internal storage.

Well, its seems that ahead of the Le 2S launch that will take place soon as the device passed through the TENAA certification, the Max 2 is getting a price cut and this can be only good for consumers.

The device is listed on Oppomart website with a $160 off its original price.

What does it mean for you? That you have the chance to purchase the 4GB/32GB version for $239 and the 6GB/64GB version for $359 instead of $399 and $519 respectively.

Good prices for a device that has proven its build quality and stability.
The iPhone 7 is mere days away from its September 7 unveiling, but until that actually happens it's never too late for a forecast by a respected analyst.

KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo has rounded up all the available intel on Apple's next-gen smartphone in a new report.

The important stuff goes as follows.

The new A10 chipset will likely have its CPU clock set at 2.4GHz, though a lower number is not impossible to prevent heating and excessive power consumption.

The iPhone 7 will keep RAM at 2GB, but the iPhone 7 Plus will pack 3GB to handle the processing for the dual camera.

That dual camera will be made up of two different 12MP sensors mated to different optics.

One shooter will have larger pixels and a 6-element wide-angle lens, plus OIS.

The other one will get a longer 5-element lens. The vanilla iPhone 7 should come with just one 12MP cam.

A 4-LED flash will complement the cameras on both iPhones.

There will be 3 storage options, as evidenced by multiple reports - a 32GB base model and roomy 128GB and 256GB up the ladder, possibly more or less at the current prices, too.

Two shades of black will be among the five color options - a new glossy piano black, and dark black to replace space gray, plus silver, gold and rose gold.

The headphone jack will be gone, with Lightning EarPods and Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter bundled.

The earpiece is said to be upgraded to a full-on speaker, complementing the regular one on the bottom (just one there, despite appearances).

The home button will be pressure sensitive, so no clicking there, IPx7 certification will mean the iPhone 7 should survive for up to half an hour up to a meter underwater, and the proximity sensor might be upgraded from an LED to a laser-based solution.

The analyst goes on to predict that the total number of iPhone 7 units (both models) sold until the end of the year will be in the 60-65 million ballpark.

While that won't be known until 2017, the rest of it will be official on Wednesday, so the wait is nearly over.

With the new Lenovo Yoga Book convertible showcased at the IFA 2016 in Berlin the famous chinese tablet manufacturers Chuwi decided it’s time for the counterattack with a comparison of their Chuwi HiBook Pro to the new Yoga

But for the sake of objectivity we have to point out some obvious not-so-easy to compare features.

While the display battle goes in favour of the Hibook Pro with the high resolution compared to the Yoga’s FHD, the processor goes exactly the other way around, because HiBook pro sticks only with the budget Z8300.

Memory capacities on paper are a wash, same goes for the battery.

Big advantage for the Hibook Pro comes with the dualboot system, because with Yoga you have to choose (and with the Win version pay quite some extra money).

But some things can be misleading.

For starters you cant compare the dimensions and weight of the devices, because Yoga at default has already the revolutionary touch keyboard dock integrated, while the base Chuwi is just a tablet.

So add the dock and both dimensions and weight will quickly go the other way.

Also the battery capacities while looking similar on paper will be a bit different in the real usage, given Lenovo’s extensive experience in the matter with older devices.

But what stands true is the huge price gap between the devices and it can get even bigger, With the new Lenovo Yoga Book convertible showcased at the IFA 2016 in Berlin the famous chinese tablet manufacturers Chuwi decided it’s time for the counterattack with a comparison of their Chuwi HiBook Pro to the new Yoga.

Everything is clearly summed up in the comparison table below, so it’s obvious that on many fronts those two devices can stand head to head pretty easily.

But for the sake of objectivity we have to point out some obvious not-so-easy to compare features.

But what stands true is the huge price gap between the devices and it can get even bigger, because the $499 for Yoga can probably rise even higher with the Win10 version (allegedly to $599).

And these days it’s quite possible to find deals offering the Chuwi HiBook for about $200  $40 for the dock.

So price war has an obvious winner.

What do you think ?

Is it worth paying more than double or staying with the cheaper Chuwi’s workhorse ?
