- The cleric says the revolution can only be averted if President Muhammadu Buhari administration restructures Nigeria

The general overseer of Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministries Inc, in Nnewi Anambra state, Bishop Abraham Chris Udeh, has said Fulani herdsmen should be designated a terrorist group by the federal government due to their incessant attacks on innocent Nigerians.

The cleric made the statement on Tuesday, November 28, at his church premises, The Sun reports.

He said if the herdsmen would continue to kill and maim and got scot-free, it showed that a section of the country was being highly marginalized, Sun reports.

Bishop Udeh predicted that a revolution was coming which would lead to the prosecution of all past and present political leaders of the country to sanitise the system.

He said the revolution can only be averted if President Muhammadu Buhari administration could make haste to restructure Nigeria and revert to the 1960 Independence constitution.

Meanwhile, the Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom has reacted to recent claims by the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association following the implementation of the Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law, which came into full effect on Wednesday, November 1.

The group had claimed that 10,000 herdsmen have been displaced while over 600 cows have died in Benue state since the implementation of the law.

In a statement sent to NAIJ.com by the chief press secretary to the governor, Terver Akase, the Benue government faulted the claims and described it as contradictory following an earlier claim by the Miyetti Allah that the its members will voluntarily leave the state due to the new law.
