- A Nigerian Uber driver in the US has made the news, after he returned $700 which was accidentally dropped in his vehicle by a passenger
- The passenger, who is a lawyer, had misplaced the money as he hurried to an event for his nephew
- Another passenger found the money and handed it over to the Nigerian driver who then located the lawyer and returned the cash to him
An American lawyer, Rogelio Garcia, has recounted how his lost $700 was returned to him by a Nigerian Uber driver, identified as Adekunle.
The lawyer made the development public via his twitter handle, @LawyerRogelio.

NAIJ.com notes that the lawyer stated that he had somehow dropped the money in the vehicle as he hurried to an event for his nephew.
Hours later however, the Nigerian driver returned the cash to him and explained that another passenger had seen the money and handed it over.
The driver stated that after they counted the money, he remembered that he had picked the lawyer up earlier; thus, he was able to trace him and return the cash.

In a related development, NAIJ.com previously reported that a Nigerian security man working with UBA showed great integrity and returned a lost $10,000 to its owner.
The act, which subsequently earned the guard great fortune, was made public by an Instagram user, Nana Udom.
